This is not just a problem for us, there is a family from Florida, a family from Colorado, and another Mississippi family who have been affected, and that is just the CCAI group. Undoubtedly there are other agencies, and individuals who were affected by this Friday as well. Please take a moment to send this to anyone you believe may be willing to put in a call, or email on our behalf! You will just need to edit out the sir/madame, for whichever is appropriate, and put your name at the bottom. We are writing on behalf of Gregory and Barbara Bennett and their daughter, Dang, Jia Ran. They have traveled to China to adopt her, and have been held up by the US consulate's office, which was unable to issue their daughter's visa due to a slow computer printer. This delay has been very costly for them, and they have been told that a date can not be guaranteed for receipt of the visa. Without this, they are unable to travel back home to the US. We are asking that you will intervene on their behalf in any way that you can, to urge the consulate's office to expedite their daughter's visa so that they can return home to the rest of their children in the states, and begin their new life together.
